Requirements
NGIT's client is looking for Solution Architect with the following qualities:
A self-starter with professional accountability;
A generalist with a broad skillset and experience with a wide variety of modern technologies and platforms;
High degree of communication skills, able to present ideas, strategies, theories and plans to all levels of the organization in a manor consumable for the audience;
High degree of organizational skill, able to multitask and set clear timelines for expected deliverables; and
High degree of collaborative or consultative approach capability to problem solving.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Working with client personnel to assess and understand business project requirements and outcomes;.
Working with business and technical resources in the development of technical specifications; that support the procurement processes for new software solutions and services;
Developing conceptual and logical design for business technology problems;
Ensuring solutions architectures comply with current standards and are in alignment with the direction of the clients environment;
Coordinating the review and approval of solution designs through the technical governance process;
Overseeing the technical implementation and deployment of new business solutions;
Participating and contributing to the maturity of the architecture practice; and
Developing and maintaining technology standards and system roadmaps.
The ideal Solution Architect will have extensive experience at a senior level with:
Working as a lead Solution Architect on a variety of and business technology projects;
Implementing complex enterprise business technology solutions;
Modern agile and waterfall project management methodologies;
Modern business and data analysis practices;
Understanding government procurement documentation and processes; and
Technology governance frameworks and standards.
